SPIRITUAL PRACTICES

Communion
On the first Sunday of every month, we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made through his death on the cross by taking communion together as a community. During worship, serving teams are stationed around the auditorium to serve the elements representing Christ’s body and blood. We encourage people to gather with friends and family to experience communion together. Anyone who has accepted Christ as his or her Lord and Savior is invited to participate with us. Here is more information about what we believe about communion.

Baptism
At VCH, baptism is a church - wide celebration of the redeeming work of God in the lives of men, women and children. We encourage everyone who calls on Jesus to follow him by being baptized. We schedule baptisms a few times a year so there is plenty of opportunity for you to participate. The best place to find out about baptism at the Vineyard is to come to one of our Baptism Classes (required for baptism) and read the FAQs.

Adult Baptism Class - Register here

This class is for anyone interested in finding out what the Vineyard believes about baptism. Through our discussion, we will help you discover if baptism is the next step for you. If you are interested in your child being baptized, please contact Jill Lively.

Giving
During our Sunday worship services, we have the opportunity to worship through giving financially. Your money goes to support the work of the Houston Vineyard in our community. On the second Sunday of every month, we take a special offering that is specially designated to go towards missions and mercy needs.
