Missions is the act of spreading the Kingdom of God to people groups who have never experienced it.  We believe it is God’s passion to have worshippers in his Kingdom from every tribe, tongue, nation and people (Rev 7:9-12).

Partnerships

The Vineyard’s first and primary priority in missions is to plant churches. For cross-cultural church planting, Vineyard USA encourages local churches to establish partnerships, which enables them to combine resources and focus on a particular geographic area or people group.

Currently, The Vineyard Church of Houston is planting churches with:

• Turkey Partnership (Istanbul)
• Colombia Partnership (Medellin, Cartegena, Bogota)
• South Texas Border Partnership (Reynosa Mexico)
• Church Planting Partnership (Bryan/College Station)

International Workers

We also support Individuals that have moved outside of the US to spread God’s word in China, Central Asia and Chile.

Prayer

We have two prayer groups that meet monthly and are hoping to form a third group. All are welcome!

• Muslim Prayer Group – meets the 3rd Monday from 7-8:30 at 6210 Grovewood
  
• Chinese Prayer Group – meets the 2nd Monday from 7:30 – 9:30 at 6210 Grovewood

Give
We support our workers and partnerships with monthly financial commitments. We depend on our members who specifically give to Missions. You can give for Missions on any Sunday during the time offering. Thank you for considering giving of your finances to further the Kingdom in this way.
