Here at the Houston Vineyard, we have a growing, nurturing children’s community for Pre-K through 6th graders. Each Sunday, there are two services, at 9:30 and 11:00 AM. We meet in Annex 3 for worship, friendship, and learning about life with God.
Our Bible lessons are communicated to the children in a variety of age appropriate, interesting ways, making use of the vast array of talents in our church. The first Sunday of every month, the lesson is delivered by Interactive Theater (http://www.interactivetheater.org) led by Wes and Lisa Edmondsen. Interactive Theater is a theater dedicated to children and their families providing a forum for artistic collaboration and multicultural programming. The other Sundays, we communicate God’s word through our puppet theater, object lessons, live drawing, drama, and small group discussions.
In the summer, children can take part in our kid’s camp at Carolina Creek (by Huntsville) for 4 days and nights of outdoor fun in one of the finest facilities in Texas. We also have an art camp in August that features our church’s artistic community teaching and mentoring children in music, drama, art, and dance.
