We are committed to identifying, recruiting, training, deploying, monitoring and nurturing new leaders. There are training and mentoring opportunities available through our Life Group structure and other miscellaneous groups and meetings throughout the year.

Pathway to Leadership

Here is the basic information for those aspiring to grow in leadership at the VCH.

Leadership Essentials Class
This is required for all leaders and those interested in serving as leaders in the church. Senior Pastor, Michael Palandro will discuss the difference between leading as a lifestyle and being an organizational leader in the church. He will address the Biblical mandate for leadership, the nature of leadership, qualities and skills required and avenues for serving as a leader in the church. This course will serve as a starting point for everyone who wishes to lead in the church and is an opportunity to understand Michael's perspective on leadership.

Life Group Leadership

Our Life Group leaders perform a vital function in our community, bringing leadership and pastoral care to our small group ministry. The following are ways we train and encourage these leaders.

New Life Group Leader Training... This course  is designed to equip people to lead in a small group setting

Life Group Leaders meetings...a time for leaders and their core teams to come together for training, encouragement and support.

Cluster Leaders Meetings...a time for Life Group Cluster leaders to gather.

All Leaders Meetings
These are held twice a year and serve as a forum for Michael to address all church leaders on important church-wide topics. The next meeting will be in the fall 2011.
