JOSH HARDER
Lead Pastor

My wife, Dania, and I are thrilled to be a part of the Houston Vineyard and to take leadership of a church that has such a rich history and shares our values!

Dania and I come from Mexico City, where we lived for 12 years. We “planted” a Vineyard church during those years called Vereda. Vereda started as a small group and grew into a vibrant church focusing on community engagement, fighting human trafficking, and healing prayer ministry – all values the Houston Vineyard shares.

I studied theology and psychology at Lancaster Bible College in Pennsylvania and worked as in home therapist for at-risk kids for several years before moving to Mexico City. Dania was raised in Mexico City and studied sociology at Dallas Baptist University. I met Dania through our time at Christ for the Nations in Dallas. We have been married 16 years. It’s been a great experience to learn from each other through our cross-cultural marriage and what that requires of us to navigate. We value being a bilingual family enabling us to embrace both parts of our cultures, languages, and open doors for us to connect and minister to people of varied backgrounds.

We have 3 children, all born in Mexico City:  David 11, Gabriela 8, and Amelia 7.

We have been intentional about moving to the Heights and enrolling our children in Heights’ schools so that we can integrate into the community and understand how this church can best serve our neighbors.
